He opened the practice the same year he graduated.
Dr. Vadim Khrakovsky earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry in 1992 and opened Bright Smile Dental that same year. He has been treating Brooklyn families ever since.
His training began at the Moscow Stomatological Institute before he came to NYU. He later returned to NYU as a clinical professor and spent five years teaching dental students in a clinical setting.
Most of his work today is surgical. He focuses on dental implants, All-on-X full-arch cases, and porcelain veneers. These are the treatments people tend to put off the longest, usually because they are worried it will hurt or they are not sure what to expect.
His approach is to explain everything first. What is happening, why it is happening, and what comes next. Patients often tell us they wish they had come in sooner.

What Patients Say About Dr. Vadim
Real reviews from our Google Business Profile.
I was terrified to get dental surgery for the first time and everyone at Bright Smile Dental was incredibly supportive and patient through the whole experience. Dr. Khrakovsky did a wonderful job and the procedure was as painless as possible. He explained everything that was going on at every step of the way which made me feel more comfortable.
I had a dental surgery and procedure done and Dr. Vadim proves to be professional, expert and knowledgeable in his field. He explained me the process of the procedure and he did a very good job! The healing was very fast too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well!
We’ve all heard the saying “it’s like going to the dentist”. Well let me tell you something: the office of Dr. Khrakovsky is the last place that would make you feel this way. In fact if all those other experiences are just as smooth, as painless and as professional, I want to experience them all.
