Smile Gallery
Before and after photos of work done in this office, in Coney Island, by our own dentists. Implants, Invisalign, veneers, crowns, whitening and full mouth reconstruction.
Missing teeth replaced with a titanium post set into the jawbone and a crown on top. No neighbouring teeth touched.
These cases were placed by Dr. Vadim Khrakovsky, who has done surgical work in this office since 1992. Read about dental implants or All-on-X full-arch treatment.
Crowding, gaps and bite problems corrected with clear aligners. No brackets, no wires, and nothing anyone else has to notice.
Planned and treated by Dr. Vera Khrakovsky, an Invisalign Pearl Provider. See how Invisalign works and how long it usually takes.
Chips, gaps, worn edges and staining that whitening will not lift, covered with thin shells of porcelain bonded to the front of the tooth.
We also offer no-prep veneers where the case allows, which keep far more of your natural tooth. More on porcelain veneers and the rest of our cosmetic work.
Damage too large for a filling but not large enough to need a full crown. An inlay or onlay rebuilds the chewing surface and keeps more of the original tooth than a crown would.
This is everyday restorative work. See our dental crowns page for when a crown is the better answer, or general dentistry for the rest.
Tartar, staining and buildup along the gum line that brushing at home cannot reach, removed by a hygienist.
It is the least dramatic gallery on this page and the most important one. This is the visit that keeps the rest of the treatments here from becoming necessary. See preventative care.
How to judge a before and after photo, anywhere you see one.
Dental before and after photos are easy to flatter. Here is what to look for, whether you are looking at ours or anyone else’s.
Same angle, same lighting. If the before shot is dim and taken from below and the after is bright and straight on, some of what you are seeing is the camera, not the dentistry.
Wet or dry, consistently. Teeth photographed dry look chalkier. Photographed wet they look glossier. A fair comparison keeps that the same in both frames.
Enough of the mouth to judge. A very tight crop on two teeth hides how the work sits against the rest of the smile. That fit is most of what makes a result look natural.
Ask to see a case like yours. A gallery shows what a practice can do at its best. What matters is whether they have handled your situation, with your bone, your bite and your budget. Ask at the consultation.
Who Did This Work
Every case on this page was treated in our Coney Island office, not sent out.
Dr. Vadim Khrakovsky, DDS handles the surgical side. Implants, All-on-X, extractions, bone grafting and veneers. He founded the practice in 1992, the year he earned his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry, and later taught there as a clinical professor for five years.
Dr. Vera Khrakovsky, DDS handles Invisalign, crown and bridge, and restorative work. She earned her DDS from NYU in 2000 and is an Invisalign Pearl Provider.
You can meet the whole team, read our patient reviews, or work through the dental FAQs before you decide anything.
About These Cases
Are these real patients of Bright Smile Dental?
Will my results look like these?
No two mouths are the same, so we will not tell you they will. What a gallery shows is the kind of work a practice does, not a promise about your case.
Your bone, your bite, your gum health and how much natural tooth is left all change what is possible. The honest answer comes after an exam, not from a photo.
How long did these treatments take?
It varies by treatment. Implants usually run three to six months from placement to final crown because the bone needs time to fuse. Invisalign is typically twelve to eighteen months for an adult. Veneers and crowns are measured in visits rather than months.
There is more detail on all of it in our dental FAQs.
Can I see more cases like mine?
Yes, and it is the right thing to ask for. Bring your situation to a consultation and we will show you cases we have treated that actually resemble it, rather than the most flattering ones on the website.
