Areas We Serve
We are on West 5th Street in Coney Island, and we have been on this block since 1992. Most of our patients come from the neighbourhoods around us. Some come a good deal further.

The Neighbourhoods
Six areas make up most of our patient list. If you are outside them you are still welcome, and plenty of people are.
Coney Island
This is our own neighbourhood. We are on West 5th Street, a few blocks from the boardwalk, and for much of Coney Island we are a walk rather than a drive. Many of the families we see now were coming here in the nineties.
Everything happens in this one office: general dentistry, implants, Invisalign, and same-day emergencies.
Brighton Beach
Straight east along the boardwalk, and one of the shortest trips to us of anywhere on this list.
We have Russian speaking staff, and Dr. Vadim trained at the Moscow Stomatological Institute before NYU. If it is easier to discuss treatment in Russian, say so when you call and we will arrange it.
Sheepshead Bay
East of us past Brighton, and an easy run along Neptune Avenue.
A lot of Sheepshead Bay patients come to us for the bigger restorative work, crowns and bridges and All-on-X, because it means one practice handling the whole case rather than being sent between offices.
Gravesend
Directly north of us. Close enough that a Tuesday or Wednesday evening slot works even after a full day.
Gravesend brings us a lot of routine care, cleanings and checkups and whitening, plus the families who want one practice for everyone.
Bensonhurst
Northwest of us, and the B4 and B68 both make the trip straightforward without a car.
Cosmetic work travels well. People come from Bensonhurst for porcelain veneers, no-prep veneers and smile makeovers, and you can see the results in our smile gallery.
Bath Beach
West along the water past Bensonhurst, and the furthest of the six from our door.
Worth the trip if you want laser dentistry or surgical treatment handled in the same place as your routine care, rather than being referred out and starting again with a stranger.
“I live in Mount Pocono Pennsylvania. It was Thanksgiving weekend, there were not any dentists open on a Saturday in my town, and I was in pain and needed an extraction. My sister recommended this dental spot in Brooklyn near her. I called and the receptionist squeezed me in. Two hour drive well worth it.”
Why People Travel Here
There are closer dentists to most of these neighbourhoods. People come here anyway, and usually for one of four reasons.
Everything under one roof. Dr. Vadim Khrakovsky handles the surgical side, implants and extractions and All-on-X. Dr. Vera Khrakovsky handles Invisalign and crown and bridge. A complicated case does not get split across three offices.
Same-day emergencies. New patients included. If you are in pain, call or walk in.
Thirty years in one place. The practice opened in 1992 and has not moved. Patients who started here as children bring their own families now.
Nobody is rushed. First visits run about an hour because that is what a proper exam takes. Our patient reviews mention two things more than anything else: friendly staff and clear explanations.
You can read more about the practice or work through the dental FAQs before deciding anything.
Getting to Us
Where exactly is the office?
2791 W 5th St, Brooklyn, NY 11224, in Coney Island, a few blocks from the boardwalk. We have been at this address since 1992.
Which trains and buses run nearby?
We are near the F, Q and N subway lines, and the B36, B4 and B68 buses all run close by. If you are coming from Bensonhurst or Bath Beach, the B4 and B68 are usually the simplest option without a car.
Is there parking?
Yes, street parking is available around the office. Call 646-859-7048 if you would like guidance on where to look before you set off.
Do you see patients from outside these neighbourhoods?
Regularly. The six areas on this page are simply where most of our patients live. We have treated people from across Brooklyn, from other boroughs, and on occasion from out of state.
Where you live does not change whether we will see you.
Do you have Russian speaking staff?
Yes. We have Russian speaking staff, and Dr. Vadim trained at the Moscow Stomatological Institute before NYU. Mention it when you book and we will make sure someone is available.
Can I be seen the same day if I am in pain?
Yes, and that applies whether or not you have been here before. Call 646-859-7048 or walk in. More on our emergency dentistry page.
However Far You Are Coming
Book online in about a minute, or call and we will find you a time that works around the trip.
